With over 30 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, Jean-Christophe Guerrini is a widely recognized lawyer, particularly for his expertise in complex patent litigation.
He advises and represents clients in high-stakes infringement and unfair competition cases, both in civil and criminal proceedings, in France and internationally, and in particular before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
A specialist in all areas of intellectual property, he also practices trademark law, design law, copyright law, and press law.
Having argued more than 300 cases, he has mastered all defense and attack strategies in patent litigation, from technical and legal analysis of cases to representation before specialized courts. His approach combines legal rigor, understanding of economic and technological issues, and proven experience in the intricacies of procedural rules.
He is very involved in the legal ecosystem and is vice-president of the Association of Industrial Property Attorneys.
Passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise, he teaches intellectual property law in the Master II Applied Intellectual Property program at Paris-Saclay University. At the same time, he analyzes the challenges of procedural law as it applies to intellectual property in articles published in the IRPI (University of Paris II) journal.
He chaired the Intranet and New Technologies Commission of the National Bar Council. He has been a Knight of the National Order of Merit since 2012 for leading the rollout of a private virtual network for lawyers throughout France.
